How to install the Hero11 APK on Android
Five steps from the downloaded file to the Hero11 login screen, with the exact Android settings to tap on popular phones.
Quick answer
Open the Hero11 site in Chrome on your Android phone and tap DOWNLOAD on the APK banner at the top. When the file finishes, open it from Downloads. If Android asks, allow Chrome to install unknown apps, go back and tap Install. When it says App installed, tap Open and log in with your email or mobile number.
Before you start
- An Android phone. APK files don’t install on iPhone, iPad or Windows — on those, use the Hero11 website in a browser.
- A stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection, so the download doesn’t stop halfway.
- Some free storage. See phone requirements for a quick way to check.
- If you already have a Hero11 account, the email address or mobile number you registered with.
Install the Hero11 APK in five steps
That’s it — the whole process usually takes a couple of minutes on a normal connection. If any step shows an error instead, jump to the last section of this guide.
- Open the Hero11 site in Chrome on your Android phone. At the very top, find the banner “Download the APK for exclusive benefits” and tap the green DOWNLOAD button.
- Wait for the download to complete. Chrome shows a bar at the bottom of the screen; you can also check ⋮ › Downloads. Don’t tap DOWNLOAD again while the first file is still saving.
- Tap Open on the finished download, or tap the Hero11 file in Downloads. If Android says “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source”, tap Settings.
- Turn on Allow from this source for Chrome, then press Back. The installer returns showing the Hero11 name and logo — tap Install.
- When you see App installed, tap Open. Tap LOGIN/REGISTER, enter your email or mobile number without the country code and tap CONTINUE.

Where is the “Install unknown apps” setting?
Android asks for this permission the first time you install an app from outside the Play Store. It applies only to the app you downloaded with — usually Chrome. If the prompt didn’t take you there, use these paths:
| Phone | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Most Android phones (Android 8 and later) | Settings › Apps › Special app access › Install unknown apps › Chrome › Allow from this source |
| Samsung Galaxy (One UI) | Settings › Apps › ⋮ (top right) › Special access › Install unknown apps › Chrome |
| Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO | Settings › Privacy protection › Special permissions › Install unknown apps (names vary by MIUI or HyperOS version) |
| Any phone, fastest way | Open Settings, tap the search bar and type “unknown apps” |
Once Hero11 is installed you can turn Allow from this source off again. Android will simply ask again the next time you install an update.
What to do if Play Protect shows a message
Play Protect may say it doesn’t recognise the app’s developer, or offer to scan the app before installing. Let it scan — that notice is common for apps installed from outside the Play Store and is not a harmful-app detection.
A “Harmful app blocked” or similar warning is different. Don’t install the file. Delete it, go back to the Hero11 site and download again, then run the quick file safety checks. Never turn off Play Protect to force an installation.
After installing: log in and find your games
Open Hero11 from your app drawer or home screen. The main tabs are Explore, Fantasy, Games and Casino, and the bottom bar has Refer & Earn, the ₹30L Race and Promo.
Already registered? Use the same email address or mobile number as before — installing the APK doesn’t create a new account, so there’s no need to register twice. You can delete the APK file from Downloads afterwards to free up space; the installed app stays on your phone. Hero11 is for adults aged 18+.
If the installation fails
- “App not installed” or a greyed-out Install button: see fixes for common install errors.
- “Package conflicts with an existing package”: an older Hero11 copy is in the way — follow the conflict guide.
- “There was a problem parsing the package”: the file is incomplete or your Android version is too old — check phone requirements.
- Download stuck or failed: delete the partial file in ⋮ › Downloads and download once more over Wi-Fi.
Frequently asked questions
How do I install the Hero11 APK on Android?
Download the APK from the banner on the Hero11 site, open the file from Downloads, allow Chrome to install unknown apps if asked, then tap Install and Open.
Why does my phone say it can't install unknown apps?
Android blocks apps from outside the Play Store until you allow the app you downloaded with. Tap Settings on the prompt, turn on Allow from this source for Chrome, then go back and tap Install.
Do I need to uninstall the old Hero11 app first?
No. To update, install the new APK over the existing app. Uninstalling first is only needed if Android reports a package conflict.
Can I install the Hero11 APK on an iPhone?
No. APK files only work on Android. On an iPhone, open the Hero11 website in Safari instead.
Should I turn off Play Protect to install Hero11?
No. Let Play Protect scan the app. A notice that it doesn't recognise the developer is common for apps installed outside the Play Store, but a harmful-app warning means you should stop.
